I’m a balcony gardener. My former inner city garden had a large perennial and rose garden. I still miss it, especially in the spring. My downtown city balcony garden is all about containers. It’s a different garden every year. It’s small. I spend a lot less time pulling weeds and watering. It’s fun, it’s challenging and it’s easy to try new things. I spend just as much time at the nurseries on the prowl for the next plant for my collections. And I still try to winter over plants and nurse them through our wacky winters. My view from above is about my garden, other gardeners and the experiences that inspire me .
