Windowsill Revisited
February 13, 2012 – 10:10 amHere’s a look at what’s in the windowsill garden this year. It’s been a slow transition from year to year. And right now it’s a bit of a hodgepodge collection of plants. Cacti, agave and orchids are currently enjoying the winter sun. The small indoor garden is generally insect-free and getting fresh, crisp air from the open window – most days. I’ve planted the crocus and snowdrops this month. They are just starting to push up the soil in their clay containers.
My small agave collection has been temporarily moved to the mantel to make room for the pots full of bulbs. What’s on your windowsill?
